We represent leading manufacturers of displays, cable assemblies, power supplies, embedded computing, and medical components — connecting Midwest OEMs with the right solutions, faster.
A manufacturers' rep is an independent sales and technical resource that represents multiple complementary suppliers in a defined territory. Instead of managing a dozen supplier relationships, you work with one trusted contact who understands your application.
We represent a curated portfolio of manufacturers with complementary — not competing — products. When your design needs a display, a power supply, and a cable assembly, we can address all three without you managing separate supplier chains.
We engage during the component selection phase — before a design is committed. Our team evaluates specs, coordinates samples, and brings in manufacturer application engineers when deep technical support is needed.
Once a component is designed in, we stay in the loop — monitoring availability, communicating lifecycle changes, and advocating for your program directly with the manufacturer.
From first contact to production ramp, here's what to expect.
Reach out by email or phone with your project overview — industry, operating environment, volume targets, and any specific performance requirements. There's no RFQ form to fill out; just a conversation.
Based on your specs and timeline, we identify which manufacturers in our line card are the best fit — and we'll tell you honestly if none of them are. We don't push products that don't solve your problem.
We coordinate evaluation units, demo kits, or reference designs. For complex applications — particularly in medical or industrial — we bring in the manufacturer's application engineering team directly.
We stay engaged through your qualification process, helping resolve any integration issues, coordinating custom configurations, and ensuring documentation is complete for regulated applications.
After design-in, we remain your point of contact for pricing, lead time updates, end-of-life notices, and supply chain issues. Your program's success is how we measure ours.
We represent a carefully selected portfolio of manufacturers with complementary technologies. Every line we carry was chosen because it solves a real problem for Midwest OEM engineers.

Our focus is Midwest OEM design teams in four core verticals. We understand the regulatory environments, component requirements, and supply chain constraints specific to each.
We have deep experience supporting medical OEMs navigating FDA-regulated supply chains, component traceability requirements, and the long product lifecycles that define the industry. Our manufacturers understand medical-grade requirements — it's not a checkbox for them.
Industrial OEMs face demanding operating environments, long field life requirements, and increasing pressure to add intelligent sensing and edge computing. We bring the component solutions that make that possible without reinventing your architecture.
Consumer products demand price efficiency without sacrificing performance or reliability. We work with design teams to identify the right components at production volumes — not just prototyping quantities — and stay engaged through the ramp.
Defense programs require manufacturers with proven reliability, long-term supply commitments, and documentation packages that hold up to audits. We represent suppliers who understand ITAR environments and traceability requirements.
Reach out early — the best design-in support happens before the component is committed.
These are the questions we get most often from engineers and buyers who haven't worked with a rep firm before — or who are considering switching.
We are a manufacturers' representative firm — an independent sales and technical resource that represents multiple component manufacturers in Illinois and Wisconsin. Our job is to connect Midwest OEM engineers and buyers with the right components from our manufacturers, provide application engineering support, coordinate samples and demos, and stay engaged through your design-in and into production. We've been doing this since 2006 and are proud members of the Electronics Representatives Association.
Our primary territory covers Illinois and Wisconsin. In Illinois, we serve OEM customers throughout the greater Chicago metro area, including the North Shore, Northwest suburbs, Route 53 corridor, and Rockford. In Wisconsin, we cover Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, and surrounding areas. If you're an OEM in these geographies, we're your rep. Not sure if you're in our territory? Give us a call — we're happy to talk regardless.
Our current line card includes Acconeer (pulsed coherent radar sensors), Advanced Energy / AE (precision power conversion), Asus IoT (industrial SBCs, edge computing, panel PCs), Barantech (ruggedized piezo switches and HMI panels), Cambus Corporation (connectors, cable assemblies, injection molding), Dawar Technologies (custom display and touchscreen assemblies), Leader Tech (EMI shielding and thermal interface materials), National Power (custom battery pack assemblies, assembled in Chicago), Sun Round (custom medical cable assemblies), Tianma (professional LCDs and touchscreens), and Veratron (marine and industrial instruments and gauges). Contact us for the full current line card PDF.
Contact us directly at sales@envts.com or call 414-303-2223. Describe your application and the specific product you're evaluating. We'll coordinate with the manufacturer to get evaluation units, demo kits, or reference designs to you as quickly as possible.
Yes — and this is actually one of our strengths. Several manufacturers in our portfolio specialize in custom and semi-custom configurations: custom display sizes and touch integration through Tianma, custom battery pack chemistries and configurations through National Power, custom cable assemblies and wire harnesses for medical and industrial applications, and custom power supply configurations through Advanced Energy (AE). The earlier you involve us in your design process, the more options are available.
Medical is one of our core verticals. We represent manufacturers who specifically serve medical OEMs — with appropriate documentation, component traceability, and quality systems. Our experience spans diagnostic imaging displays, patient monitoring components, electrophysiology and cardiac rhythm management devices, surgical and endovascular tools, and battery assemblies for portable medical devices. We understand FDA-regulated supply chains and the consequences of getting component selection wrong.
Yes — and this is the part that separates a good rep from an order-taker. After design-in, we remain your point of contact for pricing updates, lead time changes, end-of-life notices, and supply disruptions. We proactively communicate lifecycle changes from our manufacturers before they become your problem. For programs in production, we're a standing resource for your purchasing team.

We're proud ERA members and have helped design hundreds of components into some of the most demanding products in the medical, industrial, and consumer fields. When you work with Envision, you get a team that knows your application — not just a catalog.
It's a fair question. Here's the honest answer — and the cases where a direct relationship makes more sense.
When you're evaluating multiple component options across multiple suppliers, a rep who carries a complementary portfolio can shortcut weeks of outreach.
A rep who has placed the same component family in similar applications can tell you what works, what doesn't, and what questions to ask — before you spend engineering time on a dead end.
Your rep has a relationship with the manufacturer's sales and operations team. That relationship pays off when lead times shift, allocations are tight, or a product is approaching end-of-life.
We're not a distributor — we don't carry inventory, and we don't process purchase orders directly. We're a sales and support resource. Your POs go through distribution or direct to the manufacturer.
That said, not every situation looks the same. If you already have a direct manufacturer relationship in place, we can still add value — whether it's on a new line, a new program, or simply as a second set of eyes on your component strategy.
But if you're designing something new, evaluating components you haven't used before, or dealing with supply chain complexity on an existing program — that's exactly where we add value.
Call or email us directly — or use this form and we'll respond within one business day.
